Hey there. I wanted to take just a few minutes today to chat with you about taking charge of your home over the holidays, but I wanna start off by thanking you for being a part of this podcast over the last month since it first launched. So far, we have had almost a hundred downloads on each episode, which is pretty amazing, and I am so grateful for each and every one of you.
It has truly been an incredible way to close out this year, and I'm so excited for all that's to come in 2023 now. It's almost December 1st, and you know what that means. This is a busy time of year for all of us. So let's recap some of the things that we have covered on this show over the last month and what you can do to take charge of your home over the coming month.
And then I also want to quickly go over the Declutter Like a Boss Bundle, because I've had a few questions about it. So up until now on the Take Charge of Your Home Show, we have covered, first of all, why you are not getting decluttering results. This typically happens when you're either trying to declutter and tidy up at the same time, or you're trying to declutter and organize at the same time.
We've also talked about the three different types of messes that we struggle with in our homes. Everyday messes that need put back where they belong. Homeless clutter that doesn't have a permanent spot where it belongs. And accumulated clutter that's piling up behind closed doors. So if you were to take anything away from the last couple of weeks, let it be this, the fact that not all clutter is created equally, and that these three types of messes are what's causing your home to be so messy and cluttered all the time.
Keep in mind that all neat and tidy homes have a plan in place for each of those three types of items. They have a routine to tidy the everyday messes at least once a day. Every item has a permanent home, so there is no homeless clutter. And they consistently declutter the accumulated clutter. So if your house is a total wreck and could use a good taking charge of, then you need to have a plan for all three of those.
And that's exactly what I've put together with the Declutter Like a Boss Bundle, a method to help you get all three of those types of messes in order. Within the bundle, there are three different programs. The first program is called The Home Overhaul Blueprint, and it's meant to be the step zero that you need to take before you declutter.
It's my unique method for taking back control of the chaos in a specific order and dealing with all the stuff that you don't have space for, all the homeless clutter, all the things that you don't know what to do with. It's also meant to help you get the everyday messes under control and really effectively tidy it all up, as well as manage it going forward so that way your house doesn't keep ending up out of control.
Because once you have the everyday messes and the homeless clutter under control, then you can start tackling the accumulated clutter that's piled up throughout your home. And that's what step number two and the second program in the bundle is all about. It's to give you endless decluttering ideas so you never again have to worry about where to start decluttering. Now, the Home Overhaul Blueprint and Declutter 365, which is the second program, they have everything that you need to tackle the everyday messes, the homeless clutter and the accumulated clutter. But the Declutter Like a Boss Bundle doesn't stop there. There are actually two other steps to set you up for success to make sure that this time is different, that this time you finally take charge of your home for.
So step three is a program called Declutter 9 1 1, and it's basically a library of on demand pep talks that you can access when you are feeling overwhelmed or when you need some motivation. So instead of searching for Clean with me YouTube videos, you can just pop in your headphones and listen to one of the audio lessons that is more specific to your situation.
And then finally, step four is support because I believe that this is the key to long term success in your home. Think of it like this. You have been trying to take charge of your home for some odd years, trying everything under the sun and doing it all yourself, and that has got you to where you are today, still in the same spot that you were last year and the year before.
I know because I did the same thing for years, and I'll tell you what. Trying to do it by myself cost me my kids younger years. I missed out on my youngest, my youngest child's baby years because I was so obsessed with figuring out how to get my home under control. And that's time that I will never get back.
And I regret it every single day of my life. If I had had support all those years ago, I could have skipped over all the trial and error and instead went straight to a proven method. So that's why step four of the Declutter like a Boss Bundle, is focused on giving you that kind of support. But I really wanted to make it accessible for everyone.
So when you join the bundle, you get exclusive access to our student only community, where we have weekly q and a calls every Wednesday at 11:00 AM Central. This means that you can come to the sessions each and every week to ask questions or get support as we apply the methods custom to you and your situation.
And I am so excited for this because this means that you won't be left wondering how to make it all work for you. So here's everything that you get when you join. You get the Home Overhaul Blueprint for taking back control of your home once and for. You get Declutter 365, which is endless decluttering ideas in both printable and digital format.
You also have Declutter 9 1 1 to hype you up and motivate you as well as weekly q and a sessions inside of our student only community where we can apply the methods custom to you. Declutter Like a Boss is a bundle that is designed to take you from step one of overhauling the mess to step two of confidently demolishing your clutter.
So by the end of the year, you will have a more neat and tiny home that gives you time to yourself and more time with your loved ones. And right now you can join for 60% off the full price, for one payment of $97. But the price will be increasing soon. So go sign [email protected] / D L A B.
And if now is not the right time for you to join, I completely understand. So let's go over a few things that you can do to focus on over the holiday season so you can keep taking charge of your home. First. Start by identifying all the different types of items in your home, the everyday messes, the homeless clutter and the accumulated clutter.
And remember that the key to taking charge of your home is to come up with a plan for each of those types of. Once you've identified all those different types of things in your house, then you can implement a daily reset at least once a day to help you stay on top of the everyday messes. Don't put too much thought into this, and don't try to declutter or organize at this time while you're implementing your daily reset.
Just focus on putting the things back where they belong, the things that already have a dedicated home. Just focus on putting those things away. This will keep your house picked up and tidy from one day to the next. And then if you have the time, I recommend finding a home for all of the homeless clutter. If that seems easier said than done, that's exactly what Declutter Like a Boss is for. So spend the next month, or two if you are gonna be really busy over the holiday season, spend some time over the next couple of weeks, or more, focusing on those three tasks. Identifying all the different types of items in your home, implementing a daily reset to help you keep the everyday messes picked up from one day to the next, and finding a home for all of the homeless clutter.
If you can get those three tasks completed before the end of the year, you'll be ready to start decluttering in 2023. In the very next episode at the end of December, we're gonna be talking about New Year's goals that will fire you up, and we're also gonna be talking about how to create a decluttering plan, an annual decluttering plan for 2023.
So before we end, I'd also like to mention one more thing. Take some time this month to feel gratitude for the household that you have. I know that it can feel really hard to be grateful when all this stuff feels so overwhelming and chaotic, but that gratitude will go a long way. So in the new year, as I just mentioned, we're gonna be diving headfirst into ditching and demolishing the accumulated clutter.
But until then, I hope you have a happy holiday season. Whether you're spending time with loved ones or you're reflecting on years past, don't let your home overwhelm you right now. Take comfort in knowing that we're gonna get you taking charge of your home one step at a time, because the new year is the perfect time to do that.
